About

Hi! I’m Jane, a British ribbon designer and gift wrapping specialist. On my blog I will share my inspiration through photography, thoughts, design ideas and anything that strikes a chord.

I’ve always loved simplicity, understated classics and the unusual.  I have been lucky to travel the world from childhood and experience new colours, flavours and cultures which has opened my eyes and make me believe that I can make a business which so many said would fail, work.

I have a fantastic team behind me and I’m always dreaming up the next design or product. Our wide range of ribbons and gift wrap accessories are available to order online via janemeans.com

I have a particular interest in Vintage and Contemporary Interiors, Gift Wrapping and Stationery, Textiles, Photography, Animals, Country Living and French Renaissance.

If you’d like to connect with me I’m also on Twitter @janemeans and Pinterest.

I have just found your blog, and I am amazed at how beautiful all the wrapping, ribbons are. My family are always having contests to see who has the best wrapping, so I am in Orr of what you do. Is it possible to receive your blog? I am in Australia and love seeing all the new thing.

Hi Jane! I attended one of your courses and have just watched your DVD. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to go forward with my love for gift wrapping. I don’t know where my new hobby will take me – I am already passing on some of the techniques to some of my school children, but maybe some of my friends will let me help them with their christmas presents this year! Your ideas are great, simple and inspiring! Thanks again!

Hi, I live in the Dallas area in Texas & have just discovered you and your beautiful wrapping, ribbon& ideas, simply by googling “creative gift wrapping organization ideas,” and I LOVE your ideas! Then I saw your blogs about the courses. Any chance you intend on making a trip to Texas in the coming months?

HI Nadia. We don’t currently have any courses in the USA, however all of the techniques can be found on my DVD ‘The Art of Gift Wrapping’ with worldwide delivery. Many thanks Jane M
