Edible Inspiration: Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea is one of those quintessential British pastimes and there’s nothing more I love than going to a luxury hotel and spending an afternoon watching the world go by, sipping tea from a china cup and saucer and pondering over finger sandwiches, cakes and scones on a silver cakes stand.
As a child I used to love pink wafer biscuits and have found they compliment our bubble gum pink ribbons!
I regularly used to spend tea with my grandmother and still use her cake stand and china on my photo shoots. Many of my own ribbon collections have been inspired from the delicate colours of macaroons, blancmange, peppermint creams and dainty cakes.
