Photo shoot in Turkey

I decided to head to Turkey to do my nautical theme photo shoot for our Summer ranges, as well as see samples for new collections from our ribbon factory

 For the summer photoshoot, I chose a poolside and Turkish Day Bed as the main feature

We focused on our rich blue range to give the nautical feel

The turquoise waters made a superb backdrop for the shoot, highlighting our vibrant collections

My visit to Turkey also gave me a lot of inspiration away from the photo shoot

I found a beautiful tented ceiling with a wave feature in a nearby town

I also decided to use a hillside restaurant for another shoot

Tying cutlery with ribbon, foliage and flowers

I love the flavours and vibrant colours of Turkey

Rustic chairs piled in the street

Piles of cotton towels in an array of colours

I loved these rustic crates on the roadside….they would make great ribbon storage!

The locals were rather intrigued at some of our photos with ribbons wanting to watch the action

Gifts were wrapped in pretty metallic and blue papers, positioned by the pool side with the sun shining

Ribbon was used as tie backs for the day bed, with a dreamy coastline as a backdrop

Simple bows were also wrapped around guest towels

After the nautical photo shoot it was then on to the bustling city of Istanbul

Where I went over new ranges with the factory

and topped up some current ranges too

I enjoyed my brief time in Turkey and have returned full of fresh ideas and hope you’ve enjoyed an insight in to our trip x
