Jane Means is having a Head Shave for charity and hoping to raise £5000
We all know someone with Cancer
At Christmas a friend said she was dreading losing her hair through chemo, so I made a crazy suggestion to her “We’ll do this together and I’ll be bald with you”
In the last month, 2 other good pals have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I want to be with them for the tough journey ahead.
The loss of ones hair is devastating so I am having my head shaved for charity on Monday 26th March and will do this publicly on social media infront of the press to raise as much as I can. I will be live on BBC Lincolnshire on Monday at 10am to highlight this campaign
I’d planned to do this a few years ago for my friend Keris but it was too late. Instead I dedicated my book ‘Giftwrapped’ to her.
Luckily other friends have survived and I hope you’ll support me in this cause. Any donation however small will be greatly appreciated as I need tonnes of Dutch courage to do this folks
We’re already at £2600 and I would love to reach £5000 for StandUpToCancer with 5 days to go
Please donate here on my Just Giving page
Thank you
